A Good Day for Conservative Women

"Meet the new women," writes Ashe Schow @ the Washington Examiner:

• Senator-elect Shelley Moore Capito (W.Va.) — a sitting Congresswoman, she is the first woman to represent the state of West Virginia in the U.S. Senate.
• Senator-elect Joni Ernst (Iowa)-- the first woman elected to the U.S. Senate from the state of Iowa.
• Congresswoman-elect Barbara Comstock (Va) — a sitting state house delegate, she defeated her opponent (and the Clinton machine that targeted her) in an increasingly liberal Northern Virginia district.
• Congresswoman-elect Elise Stefanik (NY) — the youngest woman ever elected to Congress, she faced multiple sexist remarks from her opponent and handled them with the grace and composure of a seasoned politician.
• Congresswoman-elect Mia Love (Utah) — she is the first black Republican woman in Congress, as well as the first Haitian-American representative.

Conservatives can also cheer a conservative gentleman: Senator Tim Scott (SC) — the first black senator elected to Congress from South Carolina is also the first African-American elected by popular vote in the South and only the fifth African-American elected ever, according to the Christian Science Monitor. 

Women Waging War on Big Government

The Tea Party isn't waging a war on women, argues Amy Kremer, chairman of the Tea Party Express; but its women are certainly waging a war against Big Government, big spending, and big debt policies. 

One of the most recent attempted diversions is the invention of a "Tea Party-led war on women." Ironically, much of the Tea Party leadership is made up of a new generation of powerful conservative women.

The truth is that Tea Party women are leading the charge to tackle the fundamental problems brought on by the ever-expanding Big Government agenda. Women are not only the most protective of loved ones. They are also the most familiar with how policies will affect their family on a micro level.

Common-sense conservative women are now driving the movement to shrink the size of government and rein in the out-of-control spending. We are going to get this country back on track, and thanks to the millions of conservative mothers, sisters, wives and daughters across this nation, we are going to restore the American dream for our children's generation and all future generations to come.

Conservative Women Rally Against Wasserman Schultz's Attacks

DNC chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz recently made news saying conservatives' "record is a war on women, and it is a priority for them."  Conservative women strongly disagreed.  Rep Kristi Noem, R-SD, had this to say on Greta Van Susteren's show:
